George Best Belfast City Airport

The airport is situated just three miles from Belfast City Centre. Please check www.belfastcityairport.com for flight information. There will be Welcome Desks at the airport for delegates arriving on Sunday.

For connections from Britain and Europe Aer Lingus and FlyBE offer direct routes to many major airports.

Belfast City Airport has a designated Airport Express 600 Service with buses approximately every 30 minutes at peak times from the front of the terminal building. Please check www.translink.co.uk for services on Saturdays and Sundays.

Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Airport is 30 minutes drive via the M2 motorway. Please check www.belfastairport.com for flight information. There will be Welcome Desks at the airport for delegates arriving on Sunday.

The Airport Express 300 service operates between the airport and Belfast City Centre every 15 minutes Monday to Friday, every 20 minutes on Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sunday. This service operates 24 hours a day however night services are less frequent. 

Tickets are available from the tourist information desk in arrivals or from the driver.

Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is conveniently located approximately 10km north of Dublin City Centre, near the M50 and M1 motorways. You can get to and from the airport by bus, taxi, or car. Both Bus Éireann and Aircoach leave for Belfast at Dublin Airport. The X1 bus service (provided jointly by Translink and Bus Eireann) operates from Dublin Busáras in the city centre and Dublin Airport to Belfast, with 21 departures every day.Airocach provides 44 daily non-stop express services connecting Dublin Airport with Belfast.

X2 route: Belfast – Dublin Airport – Dublin (some X2 services terminate at Dublin Airport). 
X1 route: Belfast – Sprucefield – Banbridge – Newry – Dublin Airport – Dublin

BY RAIL

Irish Rail operates services from towns and cities across the Republic of Ireland to Dublin's Connolly Station, where you can then catch a connecting train to Belfast. The Enterprise train service (provided jointly by Translink and Irish Rail), from Connolly Station to Belfast's Central Station, runs eight times daily (five times on Sunday) and takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. Book in advance at www.irishrail.ie to avail of the best value fares. Your Enterprise ticket includes free onward rail travel from Belfast Central Station to Titanic Quarter Station (train stop for Titanic Belfast visitor attraction) as well as free Metro Bus services from Belfast Central Station to the city centre.

BY ROAD FROM DUBLIN

Starting out from Dublin Airport, the M1 motorway is well signposted for Belfast; this is a toll road and there is one Toll Plaza approximately 31 km from Dublin Airport. Continue on this motorway signposted for Belfast. Just after passing the City of Newry the road becomes a dual carriageway (A1) and motorway regulations fall away. At the Sprucefield roundabout (approximately 137 km from Dublin Airport) the A1 joins the M1 motorway (signposted The North, Belfast). Once within the Greater Belfast area the signs will display as City Centre. At Grosvenor Road Junction (approximately 152 km) leave the motorway and follow signs City Centre onto the B38.
