María Crespo

Complutense University of Madrid, Spain

María Crespo is Ph.D, Clinical Psychologist and Full Professor of Behavior Therapy and Clinical Psychology, Universidad Complutense at Madrid (Spain). Her research interest concerns the study of the effectiveness of psychological treatment for trauma victims (specifically, battered women). In last years she has led a research project on psychological sequelae and narrative of the event in women victims of violence by their intimate male partner, funded by the Spanish Government. She has also worked on the development of instruments for the assessment of posttraumatic symptom (EGEP and EGEP-5) and the global impact of traumatic events (CIT).
