Joanne Mouthaan

Dr. Joanne Mouthaan is senior assistant professor and educational coordinator at the clinical psychology department at Leiden University. She is the current ESTSS President and Chair of the Dutch Psychotrauma Society (NtVP). Joanne's research focuses on prevention and prediction of psychological responses to trauma, biological stress markers, suicide prevention, student wellbeing and technological innovations in mental health care and mental health professional training, i.e., via e-health and e-learning. She is part of the International Consortium on Predicting Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (ICPP) and the CONNECT Research Consortium on COVID-19 psychosocial responses.
